SHADOWCLAN

Shadowclan's territory is a a veritable mystery to the other clans, since Shadowclan has kept their secrecy. Their camp is in the middle of a hidden grove of close-knit willow trees, which have tangled their branches together to form a sage enclosure. The outer wall is protected by climbing brambles and rose-bushes. It is a beautiful and deadly sight to any who do not know where they tread.

Shadowclan's territory can prove to be a complex maze to those who don't know their way around. The territory is mainly marshlands, but these lands are covered with twisting gorse, ancient trees and wild rose bushes. Shadowclan's territory is like one beautiful, giant garden of the dead. It is a haunting place of silence that warns all visitors away, but to those that know their way through the twisting roses, it is magical.

STREAMCLAN

The Streamclan camp is actually a series of small islands interwoven with a network of creeks and rivers. Most of the dens have their own island. Around the perimeter of these stream islands in a barrier of reeds and brambles which keeps the camp hidden and safe. In most cases the gap between the dens is small and can be stepped or jumped over. Sometimes wading is necessary. The amount of water around also makes Streamclan susceptible to flooding when the snows melt after leafbare.

A great deal of Streamclan territory is wetlands and bog, which can be found on the west side of camp. The rest of the territory is sparse forest which slopes into Gladeclan and the edges of a mountain range, which provide warm sunning rocks and decent amounts of prey. With such a variety in landscapes, prey is abundant and diverse.

FLIGHTCLAN

The Flightclan camp is located in a hidden crevice in the ground. It is a large crack in the ground that appears deadly, and only the Flightclan cats know the right way to jump down safely. Otherwise, the hanging flat is impenetrable. Down in the hanging flat where they live, there is a hidden waterfall and green, flowering meadows with many bright flowers. It is truly a beautiful sight to behold, and those that have never been to Flightclan would be astounded by its beauty.

Above their Hanging Flat, the FLightclan territory is made up of rolling hills and meadows. The ground is never flat for long periods, providing crevices and hollows in which prey and cats may hide. The grass is green and spotted with flowering plants. Along the edge of their territory is a twoleg path that leads further into kittypet territory.

GLADECLAN

The Gladeclan camp is found in a grove of tightly knit trees. In fact, these trees have been stranding together for so long that their branches have interwoven and tangled above the heads of the Gladeclan cats, shielding them from rain and snow. The ground of the camp is almost always coated with fallen leaves and the grove itself is a beautiful sight.

The territory of Gladeclan is mostly thick forest. This forest is almost always covered with a thick layer of leaves in various colors. There are many different species of trees here, maple, oak, willow, beech, pine and more. The Gladeclan cats believe it is their worship of the seasons that allow such a variety of trees to grow in their home. Large amounts of prey can be found on the ground and in the trees. The forest thins out as it heads towards Shadowclan territory, the ground becoming marshier and less pleasant to walk on.

OUTSIDE THE CLANS

Past the thunderpath that rests on the edge of Flightclan territory lies the twoleg outskirts. Kittypets find their homes with owners here, sleeping in comfortable beds and being fed. Sometimes a loner will also drop in from time to time, as there is food available and no real dangers.

If one were to continue following the twoleg homes, they would eventually reach the slums. This is a run-down decrepit part of town where rogues form small bands to work together and survive, It is a dangerous area best avoided unless you're looking for a fight.

The wild green is the land just past Shadowclan and Gladeclan territory. It is mainly sloping forest, interjected with small moors and fields. After a time, a few widely-spaced twoleg homes appear. This is outside of clan territory and it is mainly loners that dwell here, as there is plenty of food and shelter.

The Mountain Pass is the mountain range that briefly touches through Flightclan and Streamclan territory. The prey here is hard to come by and winters are harsh. Some cats that have no other options scrape a living out here, but it is mostly avoided. Only the truly brave and adventurous come here.

SACRED GROUND

Oak Fell is where, due to the insistence of Shadowclan, the four clans will meet every moon for a gathering. It is a large clearing, protected by trees with bramble and rose intertwined through them. The leaders make their announcements from a tall rock, overshadowed by a giant oak tree. The roots of this oak sprawl out all the way to the edges of the gathering, creating seats for many cats if they choose.

The Fourth Wall is a network of caves where each of the leaders come to receive their new lives. The mouth of the cave splits into four separate passageways, each with a symbol carved overhead. A leaf for Gladeclan, a star for Shadowclan, a bird for Flightclan and a wave for Streamclan. Only Shadowclan receives their nine lives from Starclan. All of the other clans are blessed by their own source.
